This totally reminds me of myself. Especially on the phone. I am the worst conversationalist ever. One time I literally ran away from this guy from one of my classes when I ran into him on campus. We talked for a minute or so, and them I abruptly said "Well, I've got to go" and took off! And then the rest of the day I kept remembering the "conversation" and becoming embarrassed all over again! I remember that. I was so very confused as to where we were going and why we "had to go". Oh well. You're getting better at it though, just keep telling yourself that. You just need more practice talking to people you're comfortable with (like me!) and then you can maybe relax around the other people... and stop saying your cat just jumped down the dish disposal, etc. etc.
Ooo, that's a good one. I'll use it the next time you call while I'm trying to watch a movie. :D
